Every month people who work in the environmental field meet up for a beer at informal sessions known as Green Drinks.
We have a lively mixture of people from NGOs, academia, government and business. Come along and you’ll be made welcome. Just say, “are you green?” and we will look after you and introduce you to whoever is there.It’s a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts. Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organising network.
These events are very simple and unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity. It’s a force for the good and we’d like to help it spread to other cities. Contact your local node to get the latest info about coming along.

The Electric Vehicle Association of Greater Washington, D.C. is a non profit (501 [c]3) organization of electric vehicle owners, hobbyists, educators and enthusiasts dedicated to promoting the use of electric vehicles (EV’s) as an environmental and energy alternative. EVA/DC was formed in 1980 as a chapter of the nationwide Electric Auto Association (EAA), and holds regular monthly meetings, public displays, car shows and “tech” sessions to exchange information.

Welcome to Going 4 Green!! A website that I have created in order to share my love and dedication for the environment.
This is a gift from me to you. It is a list of all of the “green” websites that I’ve added to my bookmarks over the past several years.
It was never work compiling this list, it was more like treasure hunting… so here it is my blog listing Eco, Environmental, Green, Treehugger, etc… websites. I will do my best to classify and list all that I have found.
